Introduction

In the digital age, law enforcement relies more on technology. Efficiency and security in command and dispatch are vital for smooth operations. To improve its command center’s intelligence and security, a city’s Public Security Bureau in Jiangsu Province implemented UDWEN Console technology. This project used advanced tools to boost efficiency, security, and timely decision-making in the command center.

Project Background

As the city’s population grows, public safety challenges have become more complex. The Public Security Bureau’s traditional command systems struggled with large data loads and complex processes. This made it hard to handle emergencies efficiently. To solve this, the bureau introduced an advanced command system, with UDWEN Console as a key part, helping drive their digital transformation.

UDWEN Console is a platform designed for data management, security, and smart dispatch. It integrates real-time monitoring, data analysis, and access control, greatly improving the command center’s operations.

Applications of the U-Shield Console

1. Real-time Monitoring and Visualized Dispatch

The UDWEN Console consolidates data from various departments, enabling unified visual management in the command center. Personnel can monitor public safety in real-time via large screens or mobile devices. This includes video surveillance, police reports, and traffic updates.

This visualization helps command staff make faster decisions. For example, during emergencies, the system automatically integrates resources and uses analysis to predict the situation’s development. This gives decision-makers actionable insights.

2. Access Control and Information Security

Sensitive data is central to the public security command center. U-Shield Console enforces strict access control. Each staff member can only access the information needed for their role, reducing the risk of leaks.

The system also logs all data access and operations for future audits. By managing data access tightly, UDWEN Console enhances security, preventing data breaches or unauthorized access.

3. Data Analysis and Early Warnings

Modern public safety management also requires smart data analysis. U-Shield Console uses big data and AI to monitor and analyze the city’s safety conditions continuously.

In this project,UDWEN Console’s warning system generates alerts based on historical data, weather, and traffic. This helps the command center prepare for potential risks, improving emergency readiness.

4. Coordinated Response and Emergency Handling

Emergencies often involve multiple departments. UDWEN Console connects systems across police, fire, and traffic departments. This allows quick, coordinated responses. Departments can receive commands and updates simultaneously, ensuring efficient joint operations.

For example, during major traffic incidents or large events, the system can quickly deploy police and medical resources. It also tracks each department’s actions, ensuring effective responses.

Project Outcomes

The UDWEN Console significantly improved the command center’s efficiency and security. It enabled better data integration, intelligent dispatch, and faster emergency response. This increased the bureau’s ability to manage incidents and ensure public safety.

1. Improved Work Efficiency

The UDWEN Console simplified daily workflows. Issues with manual records, information sharing, and coordination were resolved. Automated data analysis and dispatch reduced decision times, improving efficiency.

2. Enhanced Information Security

Strict access controls and security measures increased the command center’s security. This reduced the risk of data breaches.

3. Strengthened Early Warning and Response

The early warning system, driven by big data and AI, provided strong predictive capabilities. It allowed the center to anticipate risks and prepare, enhancing the bureau’s ability to handle complex situations.

4. Better Coordinated Responses

The integrated dispatch system allowed for quicker mobilization across departments. This reduced response times and improved the handling of emergencies.
